Aren’t we all like that lil 6 year old? The world often seems bigger than us. We receive the new job, the new position, the contract, the opportunity, the leadership role, the marriage proposal, the news of the pregnancy… We are thrilled! Over-joyed! But soon… as we reflect…, we begin to ponder…”can I do it?”
My response is always – YES! Brassy you! Yes you can do it! Often with new ventures or experiences, our goals seem insurmountable especially from a distance when we can’t see our way. We falter. We fuss. We’re afraid. These are all very normal but like I’ve always said, don’t let fear stop you. Don’t Blink. Make that bold move. Do it in Portions. Do it even when you’re afraid. Who knows? You may even Surprise yourself!

Love this! My 5th grader said almost the same thing as we left the moving on ceremony Friday. Understandably he’s a bit nervous of the transition from elementary to middle school, but our advice was the same, “you can and you will.”

This reminds me of this quote, I don’t know who said it but, “the world is moving so fast these days that the man who says it can’t be done is generally interrupted by someone doing it”.
