Goals, dreams aspirations. I need to write and it ain’t no Joke.
“It only seems impossible until it’s done”
I authored a book on Success and promised readers the workbook to follow in its treks. But it seems that life’s busyness has forced delays in completing the final output. What seems like such an easy task has become a waiting game. My life’s goal is to help others reach their goals and achieve their best potential. This would aptly be met providing the coaching and guidance that comes through using the workbook. A tool to help individuals understand how to maneuver the step by step process to achieve their goals.
So now I must practice what I preach. Yup! I must! Life happens but I will devote the time to enable the process. Planning is everything. But writing, writing, and more writing is even more important. As writers, goal seekers, no doubt you have been there. Excuses are just that…excuses. That’s not acceptable in my world.
So now for the next couple of weeks I intend to dedicate the time, effort and attention to making this tool a reality. Public commitment? Oh yes indeed! And this ain’t no joke. In manageable strides, this goal will be achieved no matter how daunting it seems.
Peace, quiet, calm, serenity. That’s what weekends, holidays, vacations are for. To reboot, unwind, and get back in the game.
As workaholics, we don’t often do it. We feel it’s a Luxury that we cannot afford. Still, we spend time wishing, hoping, even complaining at times. But we can do anything that we put our minds to. And …relaxing is one of the most important things to do.
So plan a getaway! Or a Staycation! It will work wonders for your mind, your work, your business, career, and your life.
He awoke. Leg gone but still with us. We give praise. Quiet at first, then with increased resound!
Reminds me of other life experiences that creates desires for thanksgiving. Birth. Marriage. Abundance. A job; a contract. Storms pass. Sweet revenge. Birds tweet. Insects move. Lions roar.
Drama is defined as an exciting, emotional, or unexpected series of events or set of circumstances.
That definition certainly tells the tales of writing. To be successful, writers must get into character; write the script, all while bearing in mind the intended audience … the reader.

Plan, see, explore, renew…then Admire the benefits of widened expanse of experiences. Minds are relieved, energies boosted, and the pens of writers move in sprints across the page.
So what does Success really mean to those who try so hard to get it, yet it moves further and further away as they draw near. Trying the short route some play the lotto… anticipating overnight success. Some marry rich. Some scheme, connive, and conspire just to taste the mouthwatering trappings of success.
Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince, Beyoncé, Adele, Will, Denzel Washington, Taylor Swift, and the list goes on. Without a doubt few will argue that these individuals experienced success. Come to think of it, Michael Jackson even produced an album 5 years after his death! Now to many…that’s success! But… is it really?
Determined to find out Why Some Individuals Succeed While Others Don’t, I decided to research the topic of success. I conducted a phenomenological study, interviewed outstanding leaders in business, and other industries. I even wrote a book on Success, and published a peer reviewed article in the JAABC Business Journal about it.

Personally, I sought to educate myself not necessarily with the focus of being successful since I already was …as I defined it. I went to college earned several degrees including two Masters, and a Doctorate, combined with many years in International Business. Now some would admit that I am successful as society envisions it, but bearing the delectable scars of student loans, how many would agree? (Couldn’t resist that ..smile).

What we don’t see….CAN hurt. Violence, anger, strife, held beneath the surface can cause harm. Such harm often leads to hurt, fear, pain that maim, and even ultimate death.
Look around. This has been on the rise. Happening often with the common comment “quiet personcausesno harm”.
Silent River Runs Deep.
Silent River Runs Deep… is an old fable that seems to be applicable these days.
Woke up to the news that a father shot his 2 kids then turned the gun on himself. The feedback …”good parent, no signs of child abuse, always good father”. And there are many many more stories like this.
What’s going on?… is the common question.
Time for society to pull together. To work together within our communities to help. Signs. There are always signs. If only we see, if only our eyes are open. We’re now a society with heads down. Heads down in our phone. Heads down in virtuality, when the real world holds us as victims.
It’s time to raise our heads up. Open our eyes. Take a look at our neighbors, coworkers, friends, families; and at times our foes; our haters, our enemies. Let’s look; recognize the signals being sent. All around us there are signs.
