How will you know if you’ve never tried? That’s the question asked by Psychologist Dr. C. Watson. I couldn’t agree with her more. Too often we rationalize why things won’t work. But we will never know unless we try. At times we may look at the experiences of friends, colleagues, coworkers and even family members and use their experiences to judge our own.
Often we are even stuck in our fear of failure. But good things come to those who make the attempt.
Today I implore you to be bold. Step out. Try. Attempt to do the thing that you have always been afraid to do. Who knows? You may surprise yourself and accomplish great things!
Try it today!
Cheers to your success!

I’m moving and they are renovating the space that I will be moving into. As they work, everyday I pass by and secretly take a peek at the progress of the work. It brings such joy and satisfaction to watch the place come to life. The same is true as I watch other dreams come true. I love HGTV – the home and Garden show where they have Fixer Upper, the Property Brothers and the others. It’s very hard for the contractors to keep their prospective homeowners at bay because they like to watch their dreams unfold.
That is true of all of us. Whether it is watching a business grow, a career come to life or a child get married. The Royal family is a sure example as millions watched around the world as a fairytale came to life. A ‘normal’ everyday American girl get married to one of Britain’s most eligible bachelor …Prince Harry.
Retrospective. So never give up on your dreams. At times the journey will get hard but keep plodding and watch that vision come to life. You will reap that enduring joy that it brings.

“Run love! Run!” Those were the words I shouted to my preschooler when she was running track on her first school’s sports day. We found out that she had talent very early. She started running and when she discovered that she was way out ahead of the other runners, she stopped to look back for the other kids in the race. And if that was not enough, she decided to wait on them to catch up with her. It was a hilarious sight! Indeed it was no surprise when she became Famous for this little feat.
But aren’t we a lot like that at times? We are making huge progress towards our goals, dreams, and aspirations, then we stop. It seems too good to be true. We wait and before realize it, we have missed our path and go off track.
As we approach yearend, how have you been progressing towards your goal? Personally, I am progressing well in some areas but in others as life’s busyness steps in, I stagnate and fall behind. Thank goodness for my awareness that keeps me going.
What about you? How have been progressing? Do share. We would love to hear.

Laughter, tears, joys, exhilaration. These are some of the emotions felt as we write. But it’s in re-writing that we find the good.

Success is where preparation meets opportunity. ~Bobby Unser
Align yourself with the right people. Be visible. Observe. Show up. Then you will be able to see and be seen. These simple insights will help propel you in the direction of recruiters on the hunt…and when they call, sure you will ponder if the opportunity is right.
If you have been with a company for three years or more, the decision may be easier especially if you are not seeing the light. But what if you have said ‘yes’ to another opportunity and have been on the job for less than a year, busy settling in, then a recruiter calls, how do you know if you should jump ship?
Here are a few 7 Questions to ask on how to evaluate an offer in order to make the right decision.
In summary, burst the Bubble. Know where you want to go. When you see the opportunity, you will recognize it. For example, getting a college degree must be done through knowing where you want to go and what you want to do. Once that’s done, you will be able to take the step to find the right opportunity. You can be assured that provided you made the right preparations, when you see it you will know it.
So don’t be Abrupt, evaluate well because at the end of the day, if you are not happy and hate getting up in the mornings to go to work, you’re sure to regret it.

I want to write away. Basically get away somewhere by the beach or surrounded by nature, water flowing, birds singing, peace, quiet and natural stones. Without a Cur, I’d just write and write.
Slow pace. No rush. Quiet clear thoughts. Write away to help others. Oh for the time to write…just write.
