For if left to fester, it will drag us into the ground forcing us away from our dreams, goals, and aspirations.

Living the life you have always dreamed of is not difficult. It happens with planning, effort, and the ability to go on …to never give up even when things go wrong. Fear makes us get stuck… sometimes even for years, and sadly some even pass without getting past what held them back.

Sometimes life throws us curved balls. We have no choice but to catch it, run with it, and ride the waves until it passes. It’s what we do with it when it comes our way that counts.

Renowned Speaker Nick Vujicic, the limbless man, has inspired millions worldwide. He was born without arms and legs, was depressed early in life but found the strength to survive, thrive, and now uses his ‘gift’ to go on to do great things!

So when the Nuances and Abstracts of life hit us like a ton of bricks-no matter how subtly it rears its ugly head, let’s hold strong. Let us keep going because only then will we be able to get back up to achieve our dreams, goals, and aspirations.

Rejuvenate. Relax. Chill. Reboot. Whatever you call it, it’s important to pause. Yes, stop for awhile. To get off life’s treadmill of activities. You’ll benefit from Vivid feelings of revived spirit, ability to think, refocus. You’ll see things clearly when you take a break.

Imposter Syndrome…

Fake it til you make it. That’s what we are told and it actually works. If you want to be successful, act like a success. Align yourself with like-minded people. Network with those that you want to be like and most of all believe in yourself.

But on the other hand, there are those of us who even when we are actually successful because of our hard work, still feel like a fake. An example is the Oscar award-winning actress Viola Davis who after capturing the award, told a news reporter that she felt like an imposter. It happens and is often very common among successful people. They work hard to achieve and only know how to work hard. Then eventually the hard work is recognized and they can hardly believe it.  Indeed a sign of humility.

  • Manage yourself

So if you have attained success (whether large or small), and feel like an imposter, move past that feeling. You have earned it.

Desires. Desires. We are often  filled with Desires of dreams, goals, and aspirations to do this or that. To accomplish our best. To become our best. To be successful. But our desires are often hindered by restrictions we place on ourselves–at most by our fears.

Why not take the chance today to step out and do something that you have always wanted to do? Just say quietly to yourself…”shut up and jump“!  You may be surprised at how much you achieve.
