Just Write

Waiting for the Write moment seldom happens. It retards my goal.

So just write I say!

I start… then slowly the Write moment rears its beautiful head.

My journey has begun.

And I smile ….

Carefree Daze

Lazy daze. Without a care, spent writing.

Brings me joy as my key strokes spatter across each page.

Imperfect at first. No matter .., perfection later.

Yet still I’ll write….for such joy is inexplicable.

I write to you my love, my joy, my all.

Will you read when I’m done?  No matter.

Yet still I’ll write because what’s inside fights for release.

Read or no read, yet still I’ll write …on those lazy carefree daze.

The First Time

Mid-life she decided to move to Paris. A dream she always had. With kids grown and little or no responsibilities she decided to take the plunge! She bought a house exclaiming “it’s my first time”.

I thought about that. I have had many first times. An explorer and lover of adventure, I have sky-dived for the first time. I have moved to different states and countries for the first time.

I remember the first time I experienced childbirth…exhilarating yet humbling experience. 14 years later I did it again for the first time and the experience was no different. Wonders of the world! A little me is born again for the first time.

I now look forward to my own personal travel to a Cafe in the French Quarters…a dream to feast, write, and ride the gondola in neighboring Venice. Now that’s a first time that I can hardly wait for.

Is there something you’d like to do but because it’s the first time you’re afraid? Why not take the risk? Try it. Step out in faith. Who knows you may experience Success for the first time ….all over again.

Try it.

Future Nightmares Degenerate

Nightmares of the past creep into the face of the future. Stares so deep triggers haunting thoughts of shame, disgust, turmoil, and fear.

Tis only with strength that the force awakens the face from sleep. A sleep that sparkles promises of a future composed of beauty’s quiescence. A face filled with smiles, calm, and joy. A face of Peace.

Smile my face smile. Nightmare’s gone. Softly and tenderly the future calls.

Storm…Yet Still I Write

A quiet room, an empty page

Then suddenly a storm. Nature bursts forth it’s mighty power!

Yet still I write

What’s deep inside beckons to come forth softly, quietly with a shout!

Freed…

Water’s Rain

Raindrops. Soft, quiet, serene

Unlike the noises of thunderous terrains

Raindrops breathe life, love, play; in a stillness that comforts

All wrapped in covers so deep.

Waters pour; let it rain.

Coward’s Radiate

Having you around makes me happy, makes me smile.

Having you here …but there,

Makes my smile …like clouds,

Afraid to come out.

Response

Don’t be, I feel weird all the time.

When I come I want you to shine like the sun you are.

You pour positivity and smiles into me.

If you’re afraid to radiate we’ll both suffer.

Your Story. Your Truth…

To thine own self be true

Appearance is a concept that leads to perception. We envision, perceive, admire what we see in outward appearances, and cast them all as true.

Looking, believing that all things are true. That all things are for real. That things are always what they appear to be.

Love, hate, success, failure, laughs, cries, happiness, sadness, beauty, life, stillness, peace, turmoil.

Things aren’t always what they appear to be. Look deep inside yourself. Uncover the truth. All that glitters is not gold…But to thine own-self  be true.
